These terms explain how our SmartSite service works, what you can expect from us, what we expect from you, and how our 60-day guarantee works. We've written this in plain English because legal jargon helps no one.

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and CoreStak ("CoreStak," "we," "us," or "our") regarding your use of our SmartSite service and website.

By signing up for SmartSite, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our service.

What SmartSite Includes

A complete website system designed to generate more calls, reviews, and repeat business. We build it, host it, maintain it, and guarantee results.

Service Components

  • Custom SmartSite: Website built specifically for your business and industry
  • Hosting & Maintenance: Reliable hosting, security updates, and technical maintenance
  • Core Automations: Missed call text-back, review requests, contact form management
  • Performance Tracking: Call tracking, form submissions, review monitoring
  • Monthly Reporting: Plain-English reports showing your results
  • Ongoing Support: Technical support and optimization
  • Mobile Optimization: Your SmartSite works perfectly on all devices

What We Don't Include

  • Domain name registration (you keep your existing domain or register separately)
  • Third-party advertising costs (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.)
  • Additional phone lines or numbers
  • Custom integrations beyond our standard service
  • Content creation beyond initial website build

Pricing and Payment Terms

$97 per month, period. No setup fees, no per-user charges, no surprise costs. Free SmartSite build.

Payment Terms

  • Billing Cycle: Monthly, charged on the same day each month
  • Payment Method: Credit card processed through Stripe
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscription renews automatically until you cancel
  • Failed Payments: Service may be paused if payment fails; you have 10 days to update payment info
  • Price Changes: 30 days notice before any price increases

Our 60-Day Guarantee

If you don't get 5+ new reviews and a measurable lift in calls within 60 days, we'll work for free until you do.

How the Guarantee Works

  • Guarantee Period: Starts the day your SmartSite goes live
  • Success Metrics: 5+ new Google reviews + measurable increase in phone calls/form submissions
  • Tracking: We track all metrics from day one and report monthly
  • If We Don't Hit It: Your subscription runs free until the guarantee is met
  • You Still Get Everything: Full service continues during free period

Guarantee Requirements

The guarantee applies when you:

  • Maintain an active SmartSite throughout the 60-day period
  • Respond to leads and complete jobs as normal
  • Use the review automation system we set up
  • Keep your business information accurate and up-to-date

The guarantee doesn't apply if:

  • You cancel service before the 60-day period ends
  • Your business is closed or not operating during the period
  • You disable key automations we've set up
  • You request major changes that delay the site launch

Your Responsibilities

🤝 Your Part

We'll make SmartSite work, but you need to run your business, respond to leads, and provide basic information.

What We Need From You

  • Business Information: Accurate details about your services, location, and contact info
  • Content: Photos, descriptions, or existing website content for your SmartSite
  • Timely Responses: Answer setup questions and approve designs in reasonable timeframes
  • Lead Follow-Up: Respond to calls, texts, and form submissions SmartSite generates
  • Review Requests: Use the review automation system after completing jobs
  • Payment: Keep your payment method current and valid

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use SmartSite for illegal activities or fraudulent business practices
  • Post content that's defamatory, offensive, or violates others' rights
  • Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or exploit our systems
  • Resell or sublicense SmartSite service to others
  • Use automated systems to abuse our service or support

Cancellation and Refunds

🚪 No Hard Feelings

Cancel anytime with 30 days notice. No cancellation fees, no hassles.

How to Cancel

  1. Give Notice: Email [email protected] with 30 days advance notice
  2. Final Billing: You'll be charged for the current billing period
  3. Service Continues: SmartSite stays active for the remainder of paid period
  4. Data Export: We'll help export your data if requested
  5. Service Ends: SmartSite is deactivated at end of paid period

When We Might Cancel

We reserve the right to terminate service if:

  • Payment fails repeatedly and isn't resolved within 10 days
  • You violate these terms (we'll give you a chance to fix it first)
  • You use the service for illegal activities
  • You abuse our support team or systems

Refund Policy

  • Monthly Service: Pro-rated refund for unused portion of current month
  • Setup/Build: No refund for completed SmartSite build (it was free anyway)
  • Guarantee Period: If in free service period due to unmet guarantee, no refunds applicable

Who Owns What

📄 Ownership Rights

You own your business content and data. We own our technology and systems. Your SmartSite content belongs to you, but it's built on our platform.

Your Content

  • Business Information: You own your business name, logo, photos, and content
  • Customer Data: You own your customer contact info and business data
  • Website Content: The text and images on your SmartSite belong to you
  • License to Us: You give us permission to use your content to provide SmartSite service

Our Technology

  • SmartSite Platform: We own the underlying technology and systems
  • Automation Systems: The software and processes that make SmartSite work
  • Templates and Code: The technical framework and design elements
  • Improvements: Any enhancements we make to the platform

After Cancellation

  • Your Content: We'll help you export your business content and data
  • Our Systems: Access to SmartSite platform and automations ends
  • Website Files: We'll provide a copy of your website files if requested

Liability Limits and Disclaimers

⚖️ Legal Protection

We stand behind our service with our 60-day guarantee, but we can't be responsible for everything that might affect your business.

Our Service Promise

  • We'll provide SmartSite service as described in these terms
  • We'll make reasonable efforts to keep your site running smoothly
  • We'll provide the results guaranteed in our 60-day guarantee
  • We'll treat your data and information with care and security

What We Can't Control

  • Internet/Technology Issues: Outages, server problems, or internet connectivity
  • Third-Party Services: Google, Facebook, payment processors, or other services we integrate with
  • Your Business Operations: How you run your business, treat customers, or respond to leads
  • Market Conditions: Economic conditions, seasonal changes, or industry disruption
  • Legal Changes: New laws or regulations that affect online business

⚠️ Liability Limits

If something goes wrong that's our fault, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the problem occurred (maximum $1,164). We're not liable for indirect damages like lost profits or business interruption.

This doesn't affect our 60-day guarantee - that still applies in full.

Resolving Problems

🤝 Working It Out

If something goes wrong, let's talk about it first. Most problems can be solved with a conversation.

Step 1: Talk to Us

If you have a problem with our service:

  2. Explain the issue and what you'd like to see happen
  3. We'll respond within 24 hours and work to resolve it
  4. Most issues are resolved within a few days

Step 2: Formal Complaint

If we can't resolve the issue through normal support:

  1. Send a written complaint to [email protected]
  2. Include all relevant details and what resolution you're seeking
  3. We'll investigate and respond within 10 business days
  4. A senior team member will review and make a final decision

Step 3: Legal Proceedings

If we still can't resolve the dispute:

  • Jurisdiction: Any legal action must be filed in Rhode Island courts
  • Governing Law: These terms are governed by Rhode Island law
  • Reasonable Costs: The losing party pays reasonable attorney fees
  • No Class Action: Disputes must be resolved individually, not as class actions

Changes to These Terms

We might need to update these terms occasionally. If we do, we'll give you advance notice and won't reduce your rights without your consent.

How We Handle Changes

  • Minor Updates: Small clarifications or corrections posted here with updated date
  • Major Changes: 30 days advance notice via email before changes take effect
  • Your Choice: For significant changes, you can cancel service if you don't agree
  • Continued Use: Using our service after changes take effect means you accept them

💡 Our Promise

We won't make changes that significantly reduce your rights (like removing our 60-day guarantee) without your explicit agreement. If we need to make major changes, you'll have the option to cancel without penalty.
